This week we have another song from Engelbert Humperdinck (born Arnold George Dorsey) a British Indian pop singer, best known for his beautiful and melodious voice. He was born in Madras, India, in 1936 but later moved to Leicester, England, as a child with his family, where he took an early interest in music.

Realese me” was a song written in 1946. However, version sung by Engelbert Humperdinck reached number one on the UK Singles Chart. It held a version by Engelbert Humperdinck reached number one on the UK Singles Chart for six weeks during March and April 1967. "Release Me" was also the highest selling single of 1967 in the UK, recording over one million sales, and eventually became one of the best selling singles of all time with sales of 1.38 million copies.
