This
week, we feature again a top country music track from 1960's. "The
Ring of Fire" is a country music song popularized by Johnny Cash
that appeared in Cash's 1963 album, Ring of Fire: The Best of Johnny
Cash. It ranked No. 4 on CMT's 100 Greatest Songs in Country Music
in 2003 and #87 on Rolling Stone's list of The 500 Greatest Songs of
All Time. It also became the biggest hit of Johnny Cash's career,
staying at number one on the charts for seven weeks.
