This
week we have another fabulous track from the famous 1950-60's
American instrumental rock band known as 'The Ventures'. Here we have
the recording of a a 1958 Latin-flavored rock and roll instrumental
originally recorded by the Champs and called as "Tequila."
"Tequila" became a #1 hit on both the pop and R&B
charts at the time of its release and continues to be strongly
referenced in pop culture to this day. The Ventures also recorded
this tune twice and this is one of the recordings.
