Long forgotten musical tracks # 19

Sometimes in 1970's I had bought a LP (long playing record) which had number of theme tunes from Hollywood westerns. I have always remembered since, one particular tune from that record. This was the theme or the title tune from one of the great western thrillers, “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly,” starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach. This instrumental piece was composed by Ennio Morricone, with Bruno Nicolai conducting the orchestra. A cover version by Hugo Montenegro in 1968 was a pop hit in both the U.S. and the U.K. It has since been one of the most iconic scores in film history.

Enjoy!
